Laura Vidal, Psy. D.
Clinical Staff Member
Hello! I am Dr. Laura Vidal.

My areas of experience include perfectionism, anxiety related concerns, obsessive- compulsive disorder, eating disorders, grief, trauma, adult children of parents with addictions, migratory grief, major life transitions and vocational development.
I strive to offer a safe and supportive space where you feel heard and seen. I can help you identify underlying beliefs and behavioral patterns that may no longer be serving you. Together we will create a plan tailored to your unique needs and desires. My hope is that through our work you will develop a better relationship with yourself and greater sense of purpose and meaning in your life.
I integrate client-centered approaches with practical tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other Mindfulness based approaches. I value honesty, clarity and authenticity and carry out my work based on these tenants.
I am a licensed psychologist in California (PSY 35031). I earned my doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Alliant University and completed my predoctoral internship at California State University, Fullerton. Prior to that, I completed a two-year training program at Women’s Therapy Center and worked with immigrant children and families through Seeds of Awareness.
I am fluent in Spanish and can conduct therapy in Spanish with those who are interested.
